After writing more than 25 romance novels, winning awards, signing books, and spending years surrounded by readers who have fallen for more than one fictional man, our founder found herself working an event where attendees barely gave the booth a second glance. Somewhere between the fifth polite smile and the hundredth person who walked by, a thought occurred to her:

What if fictional men didn't have to stay fictional?
